Why does Little Penguin Print exist?
I love animals. Big ones, small ones and weird ones. My favourite are penguins – more specifically the Little Blue Penguins. They are efficient swimmers but can be awkward on land and for that reason they need protection from humans and other predators. They are the smallest species of penguin and are mostly found only in New Zealand and Australia.
Overall, Little Blue Penguin populations have been decreasing in New Zealand and the Forest and Bird Society in New Zealand are working to keep all penguin species safe.
Growing up I was a member of the Kiwi Conservation Club. Now that I am an adult (and have been for a while now), I’d really like to help out more.
Our flora and fauna in NZ has some of the most unique contributions to Mother Earth and this world is slowly decaying because of deforestation, over-fishing, and pollution. Forest and Bird fights for our environment both in the court and in the field.
Little Penguin Print also wants to fight for our unique environment by donating 5% of its profits to Forest and Bird NZ every year.
